HS So Rare is a black Hungarian Warmblood stallion who stands 16.2 hands tall. He was ranked the 2nd top dressage breeding Stallion in 2006 by the United States Equestrian Federation and holds the Champion Northwest Sport Horse Dressage Breeding Sire title for the years of 2003, 2004, 2005 & 2006 ...a feat unmatched by any other stallion. So Rare also holds the title of NWSHBA Champion Hunter Breeding Sire.

HS So Rare's sire, Rubin was a Grand Prix Class 1 Dressage Stallion. He was 100 day tested and approved in Germany in 1975. He was imported to Canada in 1985. The German Stallion Book has him listed as “a well defined type with an expressive face, great nobility in his overall appearance, outstanding trot action, very good canter...”

Rubin produced four licensed sons in Germany before being imported to Canada. His sire’s (Flanuer) & his Dam’s (Reglinde) bloodlines are found in some of the top European Hannoverian, Oldenberg and Trakehner dressage horses such as: Hohenstein, Caprimond, His Highness, Herzensdieb, Contucci, Enrico Caruso, Peron, Mahagoni, Arogano & Partout.

More importantly, HS So Rare is a direct grandson of Flaneur & Reglinde while the others are several generations away.

So Rare’s dam, H MARADO, was a preliminary jumper and also competed successfully in dressage. She was an outstanding producer, with three HHAA approved stallion sons. Her offspring have established themselves as on- the-line and performance champions.

Marado is sired by the incredibly versatile Hungarian Stallion - Magyar Brado. Brado won the Best Conditioned Horse award in the Colorado 100 mile endurance race and then 2 weeks later he was both the Champion Jumper and Champion Hunter in the Concord, California Hunter and Jumper Trials while in training with Linda Tellington-Jones. To prove that this was not a fluke performance, he did it again. After winning the Oakland International Gambler’s Stake, Brado then placed in the top ten Tevis Cup 100 Mile Ride only one week later.

Liberty Farms Sport Horse Company is pleased to introduce Hungarian Sir Bungee.

According to breeder Adele Furby, "Bungee" has exhibited extremely elastic movements since birth (thus his name). If you're looking to breed for elasticity and "air time," you'll definitely want to consider Bungee. In addition to size, excellent temperament, and great movement, Bungee has a unique pedigree that may provide the outcross bloodlines you're looking for in your next foal.

Bungee is in dressage training with Jessica Wisdom and will be starting his show career soon. He is showing great talent under saddle while demonstrating a willing and kind disposition.

Bungee is registered with both the Hungarian Horse Association of America as a Hungarian Felver stallion and with the North American Shagya-Arabian Society as a Part Shagya. All of his foals are eligible for registration with the Hungarian Horse Association of America.

Hungarian Sir Bungee's sire is the Danish-bred Shandor who is a purebred Shagya. He has extreme jumping and dressage talent. He is the son of internationally famous Shagal who was approved for Danish Warmblood breeding, Shagya breeding, and German Trakehner breeding.

Bungee's mare line goes back to H. Szoszolo, the granddam of H. Marado, making Bungee an excellent choice for line breeding to offspring of HS So Rare and HS Wistar, both out of the top producing brood mare H. Marado.

For more information on Bungee, please contact Chris Bredeson at (360) 455-5197
